Way Law does not collect personally identifiable information about you other than the information that you choose to provide directly to us, for example, by completing a contact form or emailing us directly.
Way Law does automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit this site – such as the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, and the domain name of your Internet service provider.
How the Firm Uses Your Non-Personal Information

- Cookies. Way Law may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For session ID cookies, once you close your browser or log out, the cookie terminates and is erased. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on your computer’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Session ID cookies may be used by Way Law to track user preferences while the User is visiting the website. They also help to minimize load times and save on server processing. Persistent cookies may be used by Way Law to store whether, for example, you want your password remembered or not, and other information. - Google Analytics. Way Law may use Google Analytics. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more information. You may also choose to download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Way Law may use cookies in order to facilitate the use of Google Analytics, with respect to Website visitors. Way Law may use personally identifiable information together with Analytics to track and analyze the web pages visitors visit or emails that are opened so that it can better understand and improve its services.
- Log Files. Like most standard websites, Way Law uses log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. However, none of the information stored in these log files, including but not limited to IP addresses, is linked to personally identifiable information.
- Way Law does not deliver third party online advertisements on this Website, but may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads for services when you access and use other websites, based on the information relating to your access to and use of this Website, as well as information received from third parties. To do so, these companies may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser (including through use of pixel tags).
Revoking Consent to Collect or Use Information
You may opt out of collection and use of personally identifiable information at your request at any time, but this may affect our ability to appropriately serve you. Way Law may from time to time engage third parties to preserve, analyze or otherwise store or manipulate data received by Way Law from its customers and to maintain records that allow us to efficiently communicate with you and provide, recommend appropriate services, execute documents, provide invoices, and collect payment. Way Law takes precautions to protect your information. We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain a secure data environment, however we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. Way Law does not directly collect credit or debit card information. Please do NOT include this information in the Contact form or other communication. Way Law works with third party vendors that specialize in facilitating online payments. Any payment information should be communicated directly to these parties, to whom you will be directed by: (i) appropriate links on this Website, (ii) instructions in an email that you receive from us, or (iii) links featured on these parties’ websites.
California Privacy Rights.
If you are a California consumer, you may also have the right to:
- Request that we provide you with information regarding what personal information about you we have collected, used, disclosed or sold in the preceding twelve (12) months.
- Request that we delete, and request any of our service providers to delete, certain of your personal information that we have collected from you. In some cases, we have the right to deny your request.
